
Wayne
Schantzenbach, Family Business Advisor
Having grown up in a business family, Wayne Schantzenbach has
a first-hand appreciation for the special challenges facing families
who choose to work together.
Sometimes business families encounter turbulance such as sustained
parent/child conflicts or sibling dynamics which require specialized
assessment and intervention. Drawing on his 25 years’ professional
experience working in family and marital therapy, Wayne provides
specialized insight and guidance through some of the most challenging
issues faced by business families.
Wayne holds a master’s degree in clinical social work from
Case Western Reserve University. His post graduate training is in
Family Systems Theory and Psychotherapy from Georgetown University
Medical Center Department of Psychiatry. Wayne also brings expertise
in the treatment of addictive disorders.
Along with his wife Jan, Wayne has also trained at the University
of Denver Department of Marital and Family Studies in the Prevention
and Relationship Enhancement Program and the Institute for Imago
Relationship Therapy. Wayne and Jan have a particular passion for
guiding couples along the intimate journey toward thriving, enduring
and joyful connection.
The Schantzenbachs are parents of a married daughter and a teenage
son and are also proud grandparents.
