Third (G3) & Fourth (G4) Generation Family Shareholders from The Clemens Family Corporation will share their business family’s ongoing journey with entitlement, accountability and leadership.
The Clemens family has been passing on their family business legacy for 110 years, an accomplishment less than 4% of business families worldwide can claim!
Long-time Members of our Family Business Learning Community, three Clemens family members will share how they manage some of the inevitable challenges faced by business families and how they continue to grow robust enterprises while nurturing healthy family relationships.
The Clemens Family went through an intentional process to become a “business-first” family in the late 1990s which involved redefining and refocusing their leadership team from the Board of Directors down. This involved making hard decisions on having the right people in the right positions and creating a new culture of performance and accountability while maintaining their roots and values.
